FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I contact you?

Please use the contact form HERE.

Can you provide examples of your work?

Yes – throughout this website and of course on VIMEO.

What does “Concept to Delivery” mean?

It means that a client comes to us with a need but without an idea. We will take it from there and deliver the finished result in whatever format is requested.

Do I need a concept?

No you don’t, but if you have one, or a storyboard, of course we will use it. Otherwise our team is well able to turn a message into something visually striking.

How do we keep in touch during the working process?

We use screensharing a lot, to show clients the works in progress. Alternatively, we are always happy to receive a visit!

Can we outsource shots to you from our own production studio?

Yes, provided they are within our area of expertise.

How long does a production typically take?

Obviously this depends on complexity, and where in the process we start, but if it is 3D Animation only, typically 4 months.

How long should my video be?

It depends on its purpose – most ads on the web run for typically 1 – 2 mins. Broadcast less than that. Music videos run for the length of the song!

If music is required, do you provide or source that also?

We typically compose our own soundtracks, score them, and record them. You may hear samples on our Soundcloud page. Of course, if royalty free music is required, we work with our clients to try and find the best ones that suit the production.

What formats can you provide the finished work in?

Any at all.

Is there a major time or cost difference between filming a piece or using 3D Animation?

We use both – sometimes in the same production! But no – not really. The major difference is that when shooting a video, you get as much as you can and edit it down afterwards. With 3D Animation, the editing is really done at the storyboard and animatic level, so we only need to produce what will be used. This cuts down on both rendering time and associated cost.
